Today it was an important stage. 167km with two scoring summits far from the finish line.

From the start, many attempts to break away, that ended up in a numerous breakaway including one of my teammates.

No teams wanted to take the responsibility in the peloton and the small group managed to get away with 11 minutes before reaching the first scoring summit of the day.

Right at the bottom of the first climb, the leader's team, Domesco, and Bikelife, started to work. On the way to the summit, the peloton broke and I reached the summit with four other riders, just behind the escapees.

After the first climb, there was a regrouping and afterwards more solitary attempts to get into the front group, but none of them worked. With this dynamic, we arrived at the bottom of the second scoring climb of the day all together. The group started to tense and in the last part we were 5 riders again, which I managed to loose and get the points for the red dots maillot of the mountain.

From here until the end, the leader's team controlled and around 25 of us arrived at the sprint, where we got a good third position.
